I slept in my crib (not my carseat IN my crib) last night!!! At first, I hated it and cried for 1/2 hour, so daddy swaddled me...and I cried for another 20 minutes! But then mommy came into my room and turned on my Dave nightlight, stuck my paci in my mouth and stroked my forehead(I really love that). And of course, Jack Johnson sung me to sleep. I didn't wake up until 7am!! (yay for mommy!)
This afternoon, the sun is shining and it's fairly warm, so mommy, daddy, Jack, Owen and I went for a walk. I loved every minute of it! I stared at mommy the whole time and watched her walking beside us. And Jack was chasing Owen through the fields, of course!
So, now a catnap, off to a warm, bubbly bath, and back to the crib again! We'll see how it goes!

My first weeks...
I was born at Holland Hospital on 12/20/2009...in a snow storm. It was so bad that West Michigan was pretty much imobilized for the weekend! And that doesn't happen here! Apparently my mommy was born in a snow (or ice) storm, too. So, we didn't get many visitors at the Hospital. But I guess that was okay because my mommy was really tired. Since then, I've met so many people, I can't keep track! But I love being around lots of people. So much to look at and hear. Maybe I'll be a social butterfly like my mommy and daddy?
Well, the first few days of life were tough for me...I slept, ate, pooped and slept again. There were these things called boobs pushed in my face every couple hours, which would put me FAST asleep. So, mommy decided to feed me bottles instead...I haven't seen the boobs since.
Gradually, I stayed awake more and more, thus life got more exciting.
Now I'm 11 weeks old. I can see faces and toys and moving lights, etc. I've discovered my play gym with toys to hit around...they light up and play music. Fun stuff!
I like to watch basketball on the big, flat thing called a TV. Maybe someday I'll play!
I've also begun smiling A LOT. And I love to laugh, only I haven't figured out how to make the sounds yet. I think I make my mommy laugh a lot, too. She likes my fat belly. And boy, oh boy, is my belly getting fat! Dr. Russ says I'm "off the charts" for height (hmmmm...?) and in the 93rd %tile for weight. Mommy and Daddy keep saying how much they love fat babies. So, I guess I'll humor them!
